About Lincoln Chapter

February 12, 1923

DeMolay starts in Pennsylvania

Frank S. Land and 30 members from Mother Chapter of Kansas City, Missouri meet at the Syria Mosque and institute Templar Chapter Order of DeMolay.

September 25, 1923

Letters Temporary are issued for Lincoln Chapter Order of DeMolay

October 5, 1923

A meeting is held at the Wilkinsburg High School for the purpose of instituting Lincoln Chapter and conferring the degrees on 166 candidates.  Also present were 280 members of Templar Chapter who were transferring their membership to Lincoln Chapter.

October 19, 1923

The Advisory Council called to order the first meeting of Lincoln Chapter in the auditorium of the Wilkinsburg Masonic Temple.

March 4, 1924

The charter for Lincoln Chapter is approved.

May 23, 1924

The charter for Lincoln Chapter is issued.

The original charter is still in use and at all Chapter meetings.

September 9, 1973

After 49 years and 11 months the Chapter moved from Wilkinsburg to the Monroeville Masonic Temple.

September 1995

The Chapter moved from the Monroeville Masonic Temple to the Verona Masonic Hall.
