DeMolay is a youth leadership and service organization open to young men from the ages of 12 to 21. The Order takes its name from Jacques DeMolay, the last Grand Master of the historic Knights Templar, who suffered a martyr's death rather than betray his fellows to a power-hungry French King. Members must profess a sincere faith in God, and be of good moral character. The teachings of DeMolay center on 7 Cardinal Virtues: Love of Parents, Reverence, Courtesy, Comradeship, Fidelity, Cleanness, and Patriotism.

Each Chapter elects officers from their peers. The presiding officer is responsible for establishing a schedule of events for his term in office. The schedule of events is then approved by the Advisory Board. The board is comprised of adults serving as "Advisors". The Advisors are required to under go an initial training course followed by an annual refresher course. The Advisors are responsible to provide supervision over all meetings and events.

This website acknowledges the authority and yields allegiance to DeMolay International, of which Frank S. Land was Founder.
